What's Your Black History Story

Just being BLACK is my black history?

I may be flawed but skin is perfect. - Kahlua Parker

I grew up having a lot of insecurities about my complexion, my full lips, my almond shaped eyes, and tightly coiled hair. You see my glory but you don't know my story. I had to drag myself to freedom sometimes covered in concealer and pressed powder. Getting to this beautiful woman that you see, I had to walk in stilettos while stepping on serpent's to look and feel this happy and hydrated.

Rooted in Africa.

Hydrated in God.

Blossomed in Hollywood.

I maybe flawed but my makeup is perfect. - Beauty Entrepreneur, Kahlua Parker, LE, MUA
