I grew up having a lot of insecurities about my complexion, my full lips, my almond shaped eyes, and tightly coiled hair. You see my glory but you don't know my story. I had to drag myself to freedom sometimes covered in concealer and pressed powder. Getting to this beautiful woman that you see, I had to walk in stilettos while stepping on serpent's to look and feel this happy and hydrated.
Rooted in Africa.
Hydrated in God.
Blossomed in Hollywood.
